The ARBOR Values & Integrity Award
At our school, the ARBOR values form the foundation of positive character development and guide our learners in their daily actions and behaviour.
ARBOR stands for Accountability, Respect, Benevolence, Optimism, and Responsibility—values that shape learners who act with integrity, kindness, and purpose.
Our Integrity System is grounded in the biblical principle found in Colossians 3:12:
“Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.”
This scripture underpins our approach to values-based education and inspires learners to reflect these qualities in their everyday conduct.
These values are brought to life through our Integrity Award Programme, which recognises learners who consistently demonstrate the ARBOR values through their actions at school, with peers, and towards staff. Learners who live these values daily serve as role models within our school community.
Throughout the year, learners participate in engaging activities and fun projects designed to build awareness and understanding of the ARBOR values. Learners earn value points by showing positive behaviour and applying these principles in their interactions with friends and teachers. Once sufficient value points are collected, learners are awarded an Integrity Certificate, celebrating their commitment to positive behaviour and strong character.
Through the ARBOR values and our Integrity System, we aim to nurture responsible, respectful, and compassionate individuals who contribute positively to both our school and the wider community.
